Hurricane Harvey hits Texas as category 4.

The Hurricane Harvey finally made landfall between Port Aransas and Port O’Connor, Texas around 10pm CDT yesterday as a category 4 storm with winds of 130 mph, according the National Hurricane Center. However, “Catastrophic” flooding is expected.

Harvey is the first Category 4 hurricane to make landfall in the US since 2004.The National Weather Service warned that this is the “start of many difficult days to come.”

This dangerous storm is already impacting the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) electric system with over 104,000 customers without power, according to the corporation’s official Twitter account.
